The Truth behind the Creepy viral Video “Obey The Walrus”

Many of us grew up with an internet that was very advanced back then compared to a couple of years ago, but not advanced enough. Still in those times, the internet was a kind of virtual Wild West, in which there was all kinds of content without any censorship and regulation, people went online, and did not know what they could find that day that could possibly leave you traumatized forever. In the early 2000s, a series of photos and videos emerged on the internet that would leave children and adolescents who dared to go further than they should without sleeping for at least a couple of nights.

“Obey The Walrus” was one of those videos that no one knew where or how it originated, much less the explanation behind such an unsettling footage. In it, you could see how a person dressed as a ballerina, danced erratically to the rhythm of a distorted version of the kids song “Itsy Bitsy Spider”. The person at one point in the video, starts to walk closer and closer, staring into the camera. Those who saw the video say it feels like the person is looking right through you. And there, it ends. It was one of those things that will leave you with an unpleasant sensation in the entire body…
